 | Jay wants nothing to do with retail at all. He wants to be a painter but since taking the job as general manager, he’s been able to paint nothing but stunning store displays, much to his own chagrin. |
| Steve works in the shoe department. He dreams of opening his own print and frame shop, but refuses to work in the store’s photo center. Steve has known Alex since high school; the pair are roommates and best friends. |

Jenny is the customer service girl. She very clearly dislikes her job and the customers she’s supposed to be helping. Jay won’t fire her, because no one else wants her job. Besides, she’s only saying aloud what everyone else is feeling. |

Erik is the guy in the sports department. You know the one. You can’t take him anywhere because there’s a game on. Ashe works in housewares. She’s funny, sweet, and nice to everyone. Jay thinks she’s the only normal person working for him. But when he’s not looking, she’s just as outlandish the rest of crew. Enjoys domestic things and being compassionate, which often puts her at odds with Jenny. |
